Finding Muslimah friendly hair salon

I've been asking around Twitter and local forums, but I haven't had much luck. But since my blog readership has expanded recently, I thought I'd try asking here. Maybe you could give more options. The thing is, I've been wanting to get a haircut since summer, but then I became aurat-conscious =p So my question is, do you know any hair salons that employ female Muslim hairdressers, or offer services like private rooms for women, where other people cannot see us getting our hair done? Unlike most salons that have clear windows so people can see how the hairstylists work. Or at least salons that carry out these services upon request?

How good their handiwork is is also a bonus (i.e. important =p). I currently have long hair and I want my hair done something like the picture below. So it's pretty much a major restyle.

And since we're on the topic of Muslimah friendly services, you know any spas that provide the same service? Women always need to be pampered. :)

Assalamu'alaikum Huda

What's that place called di Hua Ho Yayasan, is it called Sari Ayu or is it Mustika Ratu? I think they offer those kind of services, gunting rambut, urut-urut, spa jua kali? Entah ah, I'm not sure. Hehehe but do try! And they're Indonesians, so they're (insya Allah) Muslims. The tempat bergunting is di dalam as well, away from public! Inda nampak I think. Hehee :)

Sari Ayu in yayasan offers female only spa & hair services. I went there years ago. Their services are great. I was with them for a long time, before switching to AI and to Cindys. "If they're so great, why dont I go there again?" I dont like going to yayasan. Shame though. Because I like how friendly they were!

Hope all's well with you. :)
